This was a decent romance novel, but I had a hard time with the plot. There was a lot of "convenient" reasons for the couple to get together and I really didn't see the point of the son side-story. I thought the writing was pretty good and the dialogue was pretty believable, but I would have like to have seen a tighter story line.
I listened to the audio version and I thought Luke Smith did a pretty good job, but I'm not sure if romance is the best genre for his voice and reading style. I would love to hear him read a thriller.

Decent story line. Characters were real. Would recommend to anyone who reads romance and mystery novels. Kept my attention throughout.
Rita-Lou returns victorious , having successfully beaten the hard knocks of life. But she has more to prove, to herself and others. She must find the Renegade Man, a prehistoric figure. And she falls in love with a real renegade. Love, adventure, and gold spark this sensuous romance into a page-turner.
